Updates as they come in on the condition of Chicago Cubs outfielder Kyle Schwarber

The Chicago Cubs are one of the teams this season with a lot of high hopes, given the roster they have in place. However, Thursday night they might have lost one of their more important players very early in the season.

Thursday night while going for a ball in the outfield, Schwarber had a scary collision with teammate Dexter Fowler, and right off the bat you can tell that this might be a pretty significant injury.

Yeah, you never like to see a collision like that, and it appears that Schwarber might have even suffered something as bad as a broken leg. He was carted off the field.

With Schwarber being one of the more notable young names in the game of baseball today, many are probably wondering just how hurt the star slugger is.

Well, as of right now, the Cubs will be providing that information when it becomes available.
