Why even does Matthew Dellavedova have a logo?

If ever an NBA player needed a logo for marketing purposes, it probably wasn’t Matthew Dellavedova. But that didn’t stop everyone’s favorite dirty player/Aussie not named Andrew Bogut from getting on Photoshop and making one.

(Okay, he probably didn’t make this himself. But it looks like it)

“Extremely excited to present my very own logo!” … Dude acts like he just came out with the next Rogue One trailer.

Hey, Earth to Delly, no one cares!

Apparently this was made by a company called 99 Designs which reminds my of this thing called 99 Bananas. Yeah, there’s alcohol in it.

So, why did Delly have a logo made? The Cavaliers can make a qualifying offer on him this summer for $1.2 million. Then he’s a restricted free agent the next season. He’s pretty much locked in for a roster spot by now, right?

Maybe this is a way to steal the spotlight from LeBron and Kyrie. “Hey everyone! Don’t pay attention to the unbearable tension in our locker room! Look at this cool thing I did!”

Or maybe this is just what NBA players do nowadays. They wrap themselves in layers of marketing materials as they stumble through a world of advertising and hope something sticks. Next up, Delly signs a shoe deal and lets local Cleveland kindergartners design them for him. They light up!
