Kevin Love is a very good player that hasn’t exactly played that way over his almost two season as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Love has too often been reduced to just standing around on the fringes of the Cavs offense where his talents as a passer and post scorer aren’t fully utilized. Every once in a while though, Love flashes the talent and ability that made him such a sought after player when he wanted out of Minnesota. On Saturday night he pulled out some of that talent plus even more, with a surprising jam against the Chicago Bulls.

That is pretty impressive and not a play that Love has ever really made, even when he was at the peak of his abilities. It also isn’t a great look for a Bulls team that is trying to stay alive in their chase for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. It is a reminder of just how good Love can be at points, and why it is so hard for the Cavs to just give up on him.
