High Salary SG

James Harden-Houston Rockets (10,800): Harden has actually been held under 50 fantasy points in four of his last five which is unusual for “The Beard.” He’s playing massive minutes and carrying a ton of the workload for the Rockets in their playoff push which could mean an absolutely crazy game for him tonight against the Lakers who have no backcourt defense to speak of.  Harden isn’t someone I’d want leading my “real” basketball team, but there’s no denying his fantasy basketball upside especially in a juicy matchup like today’s.

Dwyane Wade-Miami Heat (6,500): Wade and the Heat won’t have to worry about Victor Oladipo who is expected to miss tonight’s game with a concussion. With players resting, playing limited minutes, or nursing injuries, Wade is one of the few healthy options at the top of the SG list, and he’s even more attractive since Miami still has playoff seeding to play for.  Wade had 17 points and five assists against the Magic when the two teams played on Friday totaling 26.25 fantasy points. He has at least 33 fantasy points in three of his last five games and will probably play as much as necessary despite the back and neck issues he has been battling. I’m not sure Wade will go off since he’ll likely sit once the game is decided, but he does have a lot of upside for someone who costs under 7K.
