Josh Gordon just really can’t get the whole “Don’t do drugs” message through his head

Well, if for some reason you thought that Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon had gotten the message about not doing drugs and maybe getting things back on track, then you’re going to be sorely disappointed. Apparently, he’s had yet another setback in that department.

According to FOX Sports, Gordon recently tested positive for marijuana in a test that was administered back in March. The sample was said to be rather low, but there was also dilute in the sample which was enough to trigger the failed drug test alarm.

Gordon, once one of the more promising, young wide receivers in the NFL, was suspended the entirety of the 2015 season after testing positive for alcohol. He was on a short leash to begin with, and that positive alcohol test cost him an entire NFL season. Now, there’s no telling what the future holds.

Some might be asking themselves, given his history, whether or not he will miss another season, and that’s where things get a little tricky. According to the report, Gordon may not be suspended for another campaign. He applied for reinstatement to the league back in February and commissioner Roger Goodell did not make a ruling on that reinstatement request, even though it was believed that a decision had to come within 60 days. So, Gordon’s status is still up in the air.

But after these latest developments, his chances of getting back are pretty slim.
