Kobe Bryant is retiring after the Los Angeles Lakers play their final game of the 2015-2016 season on Wednesday night against the Utah Jazz. It is the culmination of a legendary career for one of the best players and Lakers of all time and it has rightfully led to a bunch of tributes, especially over the past few weeks.

On Wednesday, Nike unveiled a commercial to honor Bryant by touching on the part of his personality and persona that he seems most proud of, his ability to draw hate from anyone, player or fan.

It is just a great piece of work from Nike and seems the perfect way for Kobe to go out. There are going to be plenty of people who are upset to see Kobe leave but just as many who push him out the door excitedly before moving on to the next legend that they can hate.

And more importantly, Nike got Rasheed Wallace to sing in a commercial. We all owe Nike for this forever.
