Stephen Curry and Patrick Beverley get in scrum on court (Video)

Stephen Curry and Patrick Beverley got physical with each other in Game 1 of the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

The NBA Playoffs is always more physical than the regular season and players are bound to get chippy with each on the court. With the Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors squaring off in a battle of two teams that don’t like each other, things got heated on the court right away.

As Stephen Curry was dribbling the ball, Rockets guard Patrick Beverley, who is known to be a pest defensively, began shoving Curry into the floor. As the two got up, they got tangled and got into a scrum with each other.

Both teams would rush in and break up the two before things got worse, but it was clear that the Rockets were trying to get physical with the Warriors to get them out of their game.

Beverley starting things with other players on the court is hardly anything new. Just a few moments later, Draymond Green would have his point guards back and would absolutely blast Beverley with a screen.

It’s the NBA Playoffs and things are already getting off to a hot start between the Warriors and Rockets.
