High Value SG

J.R. Smith-Cleveland Cavaliers (4,700): Smith had a big Game 2 for my DraftKings daily picks piling up 31.75 fantasy points on 21 points, five rebounds, and an assist. He played 3 minutes in that contest and will be a good value as long as he plays 30+ minutes and stays under 5K in salary.  Smith had 22.25 fantasy points in Game 1 even though his shot wasn’t falling (only nine points), so he can produce and contribute in a number of ways.  He’s a streaky scorer, but his real value comes from the fact that he logs so many minutes for the Cavs.

Kyle Korver-Atlanta Hawks (3,700): I included Korver in my DraftKings daily picks on Tuesday because there were so few SG options , and I said he had the chance to go off.  Unfortunately for my Celtics, he did just that with 17 points and seven boards for 35.25 fantasy points.  He can play a lot of empty minutes in some games, but since Boston is now extremely small on the perimeter he has an advantage and should be able to produce solid numbers again tonight.

Xavier Munford-Memphis Grizzlies (3,000): Even though Jordan Farmar continues to start, Munford has played more minutes and finished with more fantasy points in each of the first two games of the series.  Munford’s numbers haven’t been great with just 16.25 fantasy points in Game 2 and 18.25 fantasy points in Game 1.  However, at such a cheap price, it is worth noting that he has at least 15 fantasy points in five straight games dating back to the regular season due mainly to his non-scoring contributions and well-balanced peripheral stats.
