5. Nick Tropeano-Los Angeles Angels

Tropeano has been good in both his starts this season for the Angels and has been able to work around plenty of baserunners.  Tonight, he faces the Mariners and Felix Hernandez, so even if he doesn’t get a win he should be able to turn in a solid outing against the Mariners.

He has only allowed one earned run total in his two starts resulting in a 0.84 ERA despite a WHIP of 1.41.  He has allowed 11 hits and four walks, but he has limited the damage effectively by keeping the ball in the yard and limited extra base hits.

Tropeano had a solid outing against the Mariners last season for one of his three wins, and I think he has a solid shot at a good outing although taking on King Felix will make a W hard to come by.
