Three NFL teams with cat mascots, the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Detroit Lions, and the Carolina Panthers keep sharing GIFs because it’s Feline Friday!

April 22nd is Feline Friday and three of the NFL teams with cat monikers, the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Detroit Lions, and the Carolina Panthers are having themselves a blast by sharing GIFs with each other on Twitter. The Cincinnati Bengals were no were to be found…

It seems that of the three teams, the Jaguars are by far the most engaged in Feline Friday, with the Panthers putting up with Jacksonville constant cat puns and cat-related GIFs. Detroit joins the party in a bit, but all three teams seem to have love that it’s Feline Friday. Could you really blame them?

Here’s how it all went down…

Jacksonville was the primary instigator of this massive GIF chain between Carolina and Detroit. Carolina made it a dialogue and later Detroit got in there and made things real interesting, forming the Holy Triumvirate NFL Cat Coalition.

These cat pun GIFs were off the chain on this Feline Friday. Only one could imagine if the Bengals took part in this GIF thread? It might have broke Twitter.

Until the day the NFL’s bird teams in the Arizona Cardinals, the Atlanta Falcons, the Baltimore Ravens, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Seattle Seahawks unite on some random Bird Tuesday, we’ll have to settle for the shenanigans put forth by three of the NFL’s four cat-based teams on this Feline Friday. Meow!
