A look at when Heat vs. Hornets Game 5 in the 2016 NBA Playoffs will be played

The Miami Heat jumped out to an early lead in their Eastern Conference first round series in the 2016 NBA Playoffs against the Charlotte Hornets. With home-court advantage in the series, Dwyane Wade and company took the first two games in the series at home to jump out to a 2-0 lead. However, things can turn on a dim in the NBA Playoffs and that’s exactly what they’ve done in this series.

As the series moved to Charlotte and Time Warner Cable Arena, everything seemed to change. The shots for the Heat that fell in the first two games weren’t falling quite as easily when they were on the road. Similarly, Kemba Walker and Marvin Williams looked far more comfortable—even with one of the most important players in Nicola Batum out of action due to injury.

With the tides turning with the change of scenery in the NBA Playoffs, the Hornets were able to fight back in a major way as they ran away from the Heat in Game 3 and then outlasted Miami in Game 4 to tie the series up at 2-2. Now things will go back to South Beach and you have to wonder if Charlotte now has the momentum or if it will shift again as the Hornets go on the road.

Given the move back to Miami, though, fans may be asking when Game 5 will be played. Those fans won’t have to wait long at all as it will be played on Wednesday, April 27 at 8 p.m. ET.
