After a show by country music star Kenny Chesney, the Auburn Tigers will be doing massive work to repair the field inside Jordan-Hare Stadium.

This weekend, over 50,000 people in the eastern Alabama area got a chance to see some of the top acts in country music inside Jordan-Hare Stadium, home of the Auburn Tigers football team, with a show headlined by megastar Kenny Chesney.

After seeing what happened to the field the Tigers play on, it will likely be one of the final concerts to be held inside the stadium for a long time.

The school’s grounds crew took a picture of the field before the Chesney concert and after. While boards were placed on the field where fans were sitting and standing for the actual concert, the area where the stage was located has been destroyed and will need to be replaced along with other areas on the field:

Officials say that the sod will be replaced by the end of May and be set and ready for the team’s 2016 season opener, when they will host the Clemson Tigers on September 3.

Since Chesney is such a sports fan (in particularly college football as he seems to root for every single team that plays the sport), maybe he can help with the payment for the Tigers in order to get their field in top shape for the 2016 season.
