MLB Trade Deadline: One trade each team should make

New York Mets-Akeel Morris to the Atlanta Braves for Kelly Johnson
The Mets aren’t going to make any moves with their rotation. When it’s clicking on all cylinders it’s downright scary. They aren’t going to make any moves with the bullpen with guys like Josh Edgin on their way back and if need be, Rafael Montero.
They aren’t going to change anything with their lineup, so the one spot I can see something being tweaked, at least right now, is on their bench. I think upgrading over Eric Campbell with someone who they had last season would make some sense. Johnson is someone who can play virtually anywhere, and I’m not sure why the Mets let him go. He can give them another left-handed bat off the bench to give the Mets two righties, two lefties and then the backup catcher.
Lather, rinse, repeat on the strategy in this for the Braves. Morris is young, power arm in the bullpen. Last season, he struck out 81 in just 61.1 innings, while opponents hit just .137 against him. Morris is someone that is already on the 40-man roster, so the Braves could bring him up and see what he has at some point this season if they wanted to.
