The NBA Draft process is a constantly evolving one, and it evolves in different ways. Last week, the draft lottery odds were set, and this w the big news this week is that multiple teams are beginning the annual management turnover that will sway the way that teams make decisions. Four NBA teams have made coaching decisions, and two will influence the top five of the draft, with the Phoenix Suns retaining interim coach Earl Watson and the Minnesota Timberwolves giving a mega-deal to former Chicago Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau to become their new coach and President of Basketball Operations. Both of these moves will offer excellent insight into how these teams will use their top picks in June.

The other big news of the week came in the form of draft declarations, with the last few interesting names officially committing to testing the draft waters. To no one’s surprise, Jaylen Brown of California declared this week, but he wasn’t the only one, as a few late-1st round hopefuls also threw their names in. Nigel Hayes of Wisconsin, Chinese big man Zhou Qi, and Spanish forward Juan Hernangomez all declared within the last week, while Brown’s teammate, Ivan Rabb, decided to stay with the Golden Bears for another season. With all of this in mind, let’s see how our 2016 NBA Mock Draft changes this week, starting at the top, where a gradual shift in thought process appears to be occurring.
