The Arizona Cardinals selected defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche and Twitter blew up over the pick.
Heading into the NFL Draft, there was no questioning the talent of Ole Miss defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche. However, because of some off-the-field issues, Nkemdiche had some red flags, which caused teams to pass on him and select someone else.
However, his slide didn’t keep him from being a first-round pick and with the No. 29 overall pick in the first round, the Arizona Cardinals decided to add Nkemdiche to their talented defense. The Cardinals were just one game away from making the Super Bowl last season, but a lack of a pass rush really held them back.
Thus far, the Cardinals have traded for Chandler Jones and now they have drafted Nkemdiche. After the talented defensive lineman was drafted, Twitter absolutely blew up over the pick.
Well I guess if u let Nkemdiche go to a team who sacks u like 7 times a game..better get some protection..but Noah Spence\Miles Jack ect.

Nkemdiche was a steal at 29

If Nkemdiche can get his act together and prove that he was worth the investment, the Cardinals could have very well have the best defense in the league. They had a potential gem drop in their laps and it feels like the right spot for him.
