The Cleveland Browns might be looking to trade down again on Draft night.

The Cleveland Browns aren’t known for doing smart things as a franchise, but they have already started to trend in a different direction under the leadership of Sashi Brown.

Already, the Brown have moved out of the No. 2 slot in the Draft and compiled picks to build a foundation of a possible winner.

According to Ian Rapoport, the Browns are looking to actually make a smart move and trade down for a second time in the draft so they can compile more picks and  take a player they think can be a game changer for them.

This seems almost too smart for the Browns to make this move happen, but let’s not count it out. The law of averages seems to suggest that the Browns will eventually do something smart, even if by accident. There are prospects the Browns can cash in on at No. 8 overall, but trading down and getting more picks — plus a player they want — is the perfect scenario that teams dream of.

Having a team trade up isn’t that hard to fathom either, as the Jets will be looking to move up and take Paxton Lynch, and there’s a chance that the Dolphins panic and move up so Zeke Elliott if he’s still there.

Either way, the Browns are in a position they haven’t been in for a very long time — a position to do something that actually makes them a winner.
