NFL Rumors: Browns, Titans and Jaguars looking to trade back into first
According to Ian Rapoport, the Cleveland Browns, Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars are trying to trade back into the first round.
With the 2016 NFL Draft set to get underway in Chicago, teams are already looking to make moves in the draft. While everyone will be paying attention to the top of the draft as usual, it’s the bottom of the draft that always tends to see a ton of action.
Teams that have plenty of picks always like to move back into the end of the first round, as they try to put more top-end talent on their rosters. Teams that tend to move back into the first round are usually teams that sit at the top of the second round, therefore making it more appealing for teams that are looking to trade back.
According to Ian Rapoport, the Cleveland Browns, Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars could all be interested in trading back into the first round to pick up a second first-round pick.
These are teams that all have top picks near the beginning of the second round and have the ammo to trade back into the first round. The sweet spot for these teams would be the No. 20 – No. 31 range.
However, with all deals in the NFL, it takes to willing partners to make a deal.
