San Diego Chargers select Joey Bosa: Twitter reacts
The Chargers selected Joey Bosa with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft and Twitter shared their thoughts
Coming into the 2016 NFL Draft, the first two picks were pretty much locked in. Everyone was all but certain that Jared Goff would go No. 1 and Carson Wentz would go No. 2. However, the real intrigue and questions started after the two top quarterback prospects went off the board with the San Diego Chargers picking at No. 3.
After Goff and Wentz indeed went off the board as the first two picks, the Chargers then made their move to set the tone for rest of the 2016 NFL Draft as they took defensive end of Joey Bosa out of Ohio State.
While the first two selections were wholly predictable, almost no one saw this pick coming from the Chargers with Bosa. He had reportedly fallen down draft boards after the NFL Combine, so seeing him still go No. 3 was crazy. As such, fans and people on Twitter had plenty of things to say.
