NFL Draft 2016: Dallas Cowboys Day 2 selections

Here is the complete 2016 NFL Draft order for the Dallas Cowboys.

The Dallas Cowboys struggled with injuries throughout last season. Quarterback Tony Romo played only four games as the Cowboys finished in last place in the NFC East. That record wasn’t an accurate reflection of the talent on the team, but it gave the organization an opportunity to add one of the best overall prospects in the draft with the No. 4 overall pick.

Dallas took running back Ezekiel Elliott with the fourth overall pick in the first round. Elliott rushed for over 1800 yards in 13 games in his junior season for the Ohio State Buckeyes. No. 4 might be considered a little high for a running back, but given the strength of the Cowboys’ offensive line, the franchise obviously feels Elliott can be a difference maker as they attempt to make it back to the playoffs.

Here’s a look at where the Cowboys pick on Day 2 of the NFL Draft:

Draft Picks

  • 2nd Round, 34th overall
  • 3rd Round, 67th overall

The second day of the NFL Draft starts at 6pm ET on ESPN and NFL Network.
