Andrew Billings was finally taken in the NFL Draft by the Bengals in the fourth round and Twitter reacted accordingly

Coming into the draft, one of the better rated defensive tackle prospects on most big boards was Andrew Billings out of Baylor. In college, he proved to be a big, strong player who’s more than capable of stifling any running game. As the 2016 NFL Draft came around, though, Billings didn’t get taken on Day 1—but that wasn’t much of a surprise. It was when Andrew Billings was still available in after the third round and Day 2 that heads started turning about the Baylor prospect.

As he continued to tumble down through the fourth round on Saturday as well, the Cincinnati Bengals ended the misery and drama by taking Andrew Billings with the No. 122 overall pick. With such a tremendous talent falling to the Bengals so late, the good folks on Twitter had things to say on the matter.

Here’s what the people of Twitter had to say about Andrew Billings finally being selected in the NFL Draft:

There seems to be only two people who really have an emotional reaction about Andrew Billings being drafted by the Bengals. Cincy fans are ecstatic to get that kind of value with their fourth round pick. Meanwhile rival Steelers fans are about damn tired of the Bengals picking ahead of them and taking guys that would’ve made sense in Pittsburgh. Just another reason to love the NFL Draft: the spiteful selections.
