High Value SG

Jeremy Lin-Charlotte Hornets (4,600): Lin was huge for the Hornets coming off the bench in games 3-5 of the series, but he vanished in Game 6 posting just 7.7 fantasy points on eight points, a rebound, an assist, and three turnovers. He should be more involved in Game 7 especially since Nicolas Batum re-injured himself which should leave more minutes and offensive responsibility for Lin. Lin will need to step up if the Hornets hope to keep Game 7 close or move on to the next round.

Allen Crabbe-Portland Trail Blazers (3,700): Crabbe should get plenty of playing time in this series against the Warriors since he’s part of the Blazers small-ball attack. Crab played well in the last three games of the Blazers series against the Clippers after being held scoreless in Game 2 and Game 3.  He played 27+ minutes in games 4-6 scoring in double digits in each contest.  Crabbe is a cheap flier, but one that could pay off if he gets expanded playing time again in Game 1.

Dion Waiters-Oklahoma City Thunder (3,700): Another cheap option at under 4K at SG is Dion Waiters who takes on the Spurs tonight.  Waiters scored in double digits in each of the last three games against the Mavs and had over 22 fantasy points in Game 3 and Game 4.  He has upside and will play enough minutes to contribute for the Thunder, but he is high risk since he can go ice-cold at times from the field.

Danny Green-San Antonio Spurs (3,600): Green took it easy in Game 4 as the Spurs closed out the Grizzlies only managing 4.4 fantasy points in 18 minutes.  He had been pretty solid before that game, though, with 22.8 fantasy points in Game 3 and at least 15 fantasy points in four of his previous five dating back to the regular season when he had 16.3 fantasy points against the Thunder at the end of the season. Since tonight’s game will be closer, I think Green will play 25+ minutes and ultimately be a great value at under 4K.

Norman Powell-Toronto Raptors (3,500): In Game 5, Powell played more minutes than he had in any of the other games in the series totaling 28 minutes and pouring in ten points to go with four boards and two steals for 18.8 fantasy points. For some reason I don’t understand, Powell only played 19 minutes in Game 6 scoring two points and adding two rebounds for just 3.4 fantasy points. He’s high-risk but I think he’ll be high-reward as well  as he and the Raptors return to Toronto for Game 7.  Powell gives the Raptors their toughest lineup, so I think Dwane Casey will get him back in the rotation.
