The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had Dick Vitale announce their fourth round pick and it was a typical performance of his.

Saturday features the final day of the 2016 NFL Draft. Rounds 4 through 7 will take place with possible sleepers being selected.

Part of the experience has included the NFL teams using celebrities, legends or fans to announce their picks. It makes for an interesting few seconds of TV, especially when someone a bit off-the-wall does this. That was the case with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who used college basketball analyst Dick Vitale to announce their fourth round pick.

See it to believe it.

Vitale pulled his usually shtick, saying how the Bucs are “going to be awesome, baby!” He then sent fans into panic when, for some reason, he decided to say that Tampa was taking a quarterback from Seton Hall and said this kid “is the next Tom Brady.” Why he bothered saying that makes no sense, but again, this is Dick Vitale. He then announced the pick and did his “awesome, baby” gimmick once again.

This was all typical Dickie V. He does the same thing on his college basketball broadcasts, so for those who are unfamiliar with his work, that 51-second video about sums it up. Vitale is an interesting character, that’s for sure.
