More from Colorado Rockies

Each day in this daily post you can find my top 5 scheduled starters that are available in over 50% of ESPN leagues.  I’ve included their ownership level in ESPN leagues in parentheses after their name at the top of each slide. These pitchers aren’t usually big names that are impossible to pick up in season-long leagues or that cost an huge percentage of your DFS salary cap. However, I think they can step up and produce solid outings given their current form, opponent, and potential to put together solid numbers. Each morning, you can find these “best available” starting pitchers on our FanSided fantasy baseball hub.

Yesterday, my top 5 fantasy baseball streaming pitchers picked up three no-decisions while going 1-1 with a 3.98 ERA. Derek Holland (pictured above) got me the only win of the day by throwing six shutout innings against the Angels. My other starters were mostly just OK but didn’t get the run  support or bullpen help they needed to get a W. We’re two weeks in to this post for the season and my total numbers for my 65 picks are 26-22 with a 4.20 ERA and a 1.335 WHIP.  My fantasy baseball streaming pitchers have also picked up a pretty solid 7.62 K/9, and hopefully today’s picks can keep those moving in the right direction.

If you want to discuss your fantasy baseball streaming pitchers, other waiver wire pickups, offer alternative options, or let me know how our fantasy baseball coverage can be more of a help to you, find me throughout the day @FansidedFantasy on Twitter. In the coming weeks as the NBA playoffs start to slow down, we’ll be able to expand our daily league fantasy baseball coverage, so stay tuned.

It’s time to get underway with these top 5 fantasy baseball streaming pitchers for Sunday, the first day of May.
