The 2016 GEICO 500 at Talladega might have been the craziest race in NASCAR history. There were multiple wrecks, multiple rollovers and multiple crashes that took out a significant portion of the field.

Talladega wasn’t just about great racing on Sunday, it was about surviving the race. In the end, it was Brad Keselowski, who ran the perfect race on the track. Every other driver on the track just tried to keep pace as best as they could, but there was no catching Keselowski.

He had fantastic speed throughout the day and he made sure by racing up near the front all day, that he wouldn’t have to worry about getting caught up in the pack and potentially ending his day on a dangerous wreck. Cars were going airborne left and right and it looked like a demolition derby on the track.
