The Tennessee Titans moved up and down the top of round one and added needed picks, both this year and next year as they continue to build the program.

The Titans needed to add pieces to get bigger in the trenches on both sides of the ball and their first three picks did just that. They traded back up into the top 10 for Conklin. Conklin and Taylor Lewan should give enough protection on the outside for Marcus Mariota.

Dodd and Johnson add size and speed to the Titans defensive line. Dodd should help the Titans pressure quarterbacks more, while Johnson can use his 314 lb frame to occupy the middle.

Pairing Henry with Demarco Murray should be an interesting combination. If the line play improves, Henry and Murray can wear down defenses.

Byard and Sims provide depth in the secondary and may even make an impact this season. Sharpe could be the Titans third or fourth receiver this season. Tretola, Wallace and Reed are all developmental prospects.

The Titans should be a better team this season, but the division got a lot more competitive. They may be a couple years away from contention.
