A look at when Cavaliers vs. Hawks Game 2 will take place in the 2016 NBA Playoffs

The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Atlanta Hawks opened up their Eastern Conference semifinals series in the 2016 NBA Playoffs with the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night at Quicken Loans Arena. While the Cavaliers made quick work of the Detroit Pistons to reach the second round, the Hawks had a bit tougher of a time dispatching the Boston Celtics, but advanced all the same.

It looked like the Cavaliers were going to remain the dominant force in the East at the start of Game 1 as they jumped out to a big lead. However, the Hawks turned things around in a major way with a huge second half run and actually took the lead late in the fourth quarter. It was a tremendous defensive effort from the home team led by LeBron James that ultimately led to the Cavaliers pulling back ahead and then pulling away to pick up the victory, though.

However, the Hawks definitely showed the Cavaliers in Game 1 that they are going to be able to compete in this series and that Cleveland would be unwise to take them lightly. As such, the Hawks, and both fans of the Cavaliers and Hawks have to have an anxious eye on the outcome of Game 2. Of course, they may also simply be wondering how long they have to wait for Game 2 and when it will be played.

The wait won’t be long at all, though, for those wondering. Cavaliers vs. Hawks Game 2 will be played on Wednesday, May 4 at 8 p.m. ET with the broadcast again being on TNT.
