Missouri. Charles Harris. 12. player. 16.
If Charles Harris declared for the 2016 NFL Draft, no one would have blinked an eye. That is how good he was during his redshirt sophomore season with the Missouri Tigers.

Harris led the SEC in tackles for loss with 15.5 and he added seven sacks despite facing consistent double teams on the edge. If there is a knock on Harris to this point, it comes to the form of inconsistency, but he shed at least part of that label given his performance in 2015, and there is no reason to think that he will not fully emerge as an every-down threat in his fourth full year on the Missouri campus.

In terms of edge players, it is always interesting to project which position and which scheme will fit best for a particular athlete. For me, Charles Harris looks like an outside linebacker in a 3-4 scheme that will serve as a primary pass rusher, but regardless of where he lands, the talent is very real and the explosiveness he shows at 6-foot-3 and more than 250 pounds is quite encouraging for his professional development.

You may not know who Charles Harris is right now, but that should change in a hurry during the 2016 college football season.
. DE/OLB
