A look at what channel Raptors vs. Heat Game 1 will be broadcast on

After a decade and a half, the Toronto Raptors finally won another first round series in the NBA Playoffs and won the first seven-game series in the postseason in franchise history. However, the expectations for this Raptors team are much greater than that and they will now be tasked with getting to the Eastern Conference Finals, a journey that will begin on Tuesday night at the Air Canada Centre as they take on the Miami Heat in Game 1.

Both the Raptors and the Heat needed all seven games to get out of the first round of the NBA Playoffs, despite both teams being the higher seed. The Raptors watched their two star guards in Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan show a ton of inconsistency and even struggle at times against the Indiana Pacers, but ultimately come through to shed the weight of history and advance to the second round.

As for the Heat, they found themselves in a battle with the feisty and hungry Charlotte Hornets team that was part of a cluster of teams in the East that largely performed at the same level during the regular season. However, it was Hassan Whiteside dominating in the frontcourt and Dwyane Wade showing his veteran savvy that ultimately carried them through.

What NBA fans are left with now is a hugely intriguing matchup between the Raptors and Heat where the action should be quite furious and the outcome is in question right from the very start. Subsequently, fans may be wondering what channel they can catch Game 1 on to get this series started.

Luckily we’ve got the answer for you as Raptors vs. Heat Game 1 will be broadcast on TNT with an 8 p.m. ET tip-off.
