Jim Harbaugh is having an absolute blast at Michigan, as he is seen clobbering a homer run off a tee while supporting the Lady Wolverines softball team.
Nobody rocks a pair of khaki pants quite like Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh. He’s done it since being the head coach at the University of San Diego over a decade ago. The former Michigan star quarterback and NFL Pro Bowler is seen crushing a home run off a tee during a practice with the Lady Wolverines softball team.
To be completely transparent, it’s probably a 200+ foot field and he’s hitting off a tee with an aluminum bat. However, that form is amazing, channeling an inner Joe DiMaggio. The khakis, unrelenting as usual.
As the softball team cheers on his shot over the right-center field wall, Harbaugh drops the softball bat and then promptly hits the dab. For about seven seconds there, Harbaugh was undeniably the coolest person on the entire Ann Arbor campus.
To be fair, he is the head football coach of one of the sports’ most storied blue blood programs. Since taking over the program in winter 2015, Harbaugh has been all over social media helping re-brand the Wolverines football team from a so-so team in a weak Big 10 into what will probably be a national power by the end of the 2017 NCAA season.
Harbaugh could conceivably go back to coaching in the NFL should he really want to, but for now it seems like he is having an absolute blast the second time through at Michigan.
