Toronto Raptors vs. Miami Heat
The Toronto Raptors got a lot of weight off of their shoulders to get to the second round of the 2016 NBA Playoffs, the first time in franchise history that they’ve ever won a seven-game postseason series. However, they’re still the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference and still have a ton of expectations. So after dropping Game 1 at the Air Canada Centre to the Miami Heat, the Raptors desperately need to rebound and take control in Game 2 on Thursday night.

Kyle Lowry was awful for the most part in Game 1, however he did add to the dramatics at the end of regulation by sinking a buzzer-beater from midcourt to force overtime. Though his heroics were great, the Raptors would gladly trade them for the point guard and even DeMar DeRozan hitting their stride and getting on the level that Jonas Valanciunas has been playing at. As for the Heat, they had an injury scare with Hassan Whiteside, but the big man was fine. They’ll need him, Goran Dragic, and of course Dwyane Wade to continue stepping up if they’re going to knock off the Raptors on the road yet again.
