NHL Playoffs: What channel is Stars vs. Blues game 4 on?

Here is where you can find out how to watch Game 4 between the Dallas Stars  and the St. Louis Blues tonight at 8:00 PM ET on TV.

The Stars are looking to put Tuesday’s 6-1 loss in Game 3 behind them and rebuild in Game 4. If they win tonight, the series will once again be tied, with each team holding two games, and the Stars will yet again have home ice advantage. If they lose, however, the Blues will gain an ugly 3-1 advantage that the Stars will be hard-pressed to defeat.

The Stars have not lost three consecutive games since they went 0-3-1 from February 25 to March 1 during the regular season.

Dallas has a lot of improvements to make before tonight’s match up, and its tough to say what area needs the most work right now. What is definite, however is that their issues in the crease are not to blame for the team’s utter demise in Game 3. Yes, the Stars’ .889 team save percentage ranks last among the teams remaining in the Stanley Cup playoffs. However, the Stars are also 0-11 on the power play in the series, when their special teams in the regular season were ranked towards the top of the league. The Dallas offense isn’t producing like they were, and are, expected to, and the Stars can’t get wins unless they capitalize on their puck possession.

Kari Lehtonen is likely to be the Dallas starting goalie for Game 4. Lehtonen, who finished a 6-1 loss in Game 3 after Niemi was pulled 2:34 into the second period, was the starter for Games 1 and 2, though Niemi relieved him in his second start of the series. Lehtonen made 24 saves on 27 shots in Game 4 after replacing Niemi, who had allowed three goals on 12 shots.

meanwhile, the St. Louis Blues’ .927 save percentage ranks third among teams still in the playoffs, all thanks to stellar goaltender Brian Elliott. They also have been far more successful on power plays, scoring twice on the power play on Tuesday night alone while playing 4-for-14 in the series. Their penalty kill is also deadly; they went 4-for-4 on the penalty kill in Game 3.

The Stars will try to tie the series in Game 4 tonight at 8:00 PM ET on NBC Sports Network.
