Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside injured his knee against the Toronto Raptors in Game 3 and had to leave the game.

The Miami Heat have had some players take some serious spills in their second round series against the Toronto Raptors in the NBA Playoffs. After Dwyane Wade and Goran Dragic took some shots in Game 2, center Hassan Whiteside was the recipient of bad luck in Game 3.

As Whiteside battled for position for a rebound against the Raptors, he along with a bunch of players got tangled up and his knee ended up bending in a way that it should not be bending at all.

Whiteside would immediately grab his knee in pain and it was obvious that something bad had happened. He would limp off the floor and would head to the back immediately to be attended to by trainers and medical personnel.

This isn’t the first time that Whiteside has had an injury scare in these playoffs. He’s been working hard and some of his battles down low with Jonas Valanciunas have put him on the wrong side of things.

Hopefully he will be able to return to the floor again.
