A look at how to watch the Kentucky Derby online on Saturday evening.

On Saturday evening, the 142nd running of the Kentucky Derby will take place. This is considered the biggest horse race of the year with one of the highest money payouts. The stakes are high and everyone will be coming in to bet on this race. The event will be held at the famous track, Churchill Downs, in Louisville, Kentucky.

In 2015, we saw the first Triple Crown winner since 1978 in American Pharoah. Fans of horse racing had been waiting on this to happen for years and had been teased with wins at the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes, but not the Belmont Stakes. Even though we’re only a year past this historic accomplishment, everyone will be hoping this will happen for a second consecutive year. It hasn’t happened since 1977-78, so everyone will be watching to see if this can be replicated.
