3. They can shoot the three as good as anyone

In the second round of the NBA Playoffs against the Atlanta Hawks, the Cavaliers set a record for three-pointers made in a series and in an individual game. Everyone will remember the 25 threes that the Cavaliers made in Game 2, but what was impressive was their ability to remain hot and continue to find range in Game 3 and Game 4.

If the Cavaliers are going to win the NBA Championship in 2016, that means that they are likely going to play a great three-point shooting team like the Golden State Warriors, San Antonio Spurs or Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Finals.

Having one great shooting game is one thing, but to beat any of those teams, a team has to prove that they can be consistent from beyond the arc at all times.

By adding yet another lethal shooter in Channing Frye at the trade deadline to go with Kevin Love, J.R. Smith, Kyrie Irving and others, the Cavaliers have shooters at all positions and will be ready to engage anyone in a shootout.

That means that a memorable NBA Finals is on tap if the Cavaliers get there. It’s also their three-point shooting that will help them win it.
