1. They’re finally healthy

The Cleveland Cavaliers might have had the worst luck of any team reaching the NBA Finals last year. They lost their two superstars that they put around LeBron James in Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love. This forced James to do his best while leading a team of role players in the NBA Finals.

Low and behold, they somehow managed to end up winning two games against the Golden State Warriors and even taking the lead in the series at one point. The difference this year is that the Warriors are banged up and might not reach the NBA Finals, considering how tough the West is and the Cavaliers are healthy as ever.

Even better for the Cavaliers, Love and Irving are clicking and the team is playing the best it has been since James returned to help try and lead them to an NBA Championship. When it comes to the NBA Finals and fresh legs are a must, the Cavaliers quickly getting through series and having healthy players will serve them well.

Add their health and motivation together coupled with the Warriors being banged up, and the Cavaliers should be the new favorites to win the NBA Finals in 2016.
