Washington Capitals vs. Pittsburgh Penguins
After an exciting Game 5 that saw the Washington Capitals beat the Pittsburgh Penguins at the Verizon Center 3-1 to fight off elimination, the Caps will be staring elimination in the face again in Game 6. This time around, they’ll have to do it at Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They will be getting defenseman Brooks Orpik back after Orpik served a three-game suspension for injuring Olli Maatta in Game 2.

The Caps, led by captain Alex Ovechkin and goaltender Braden Holtby, will be looking to take the series back to Washington DC for Game 7. John Carlson will have to be at the top of his game and the Caps will need production from guys like Nicklas Backstrom and Evgeny Kuznetsov to take the series back to the nation’s capital.
Meanwhile, the Penguins will be looking to avoid giving up a 3-1 series lead. Captain Sidney Crosby has been invisible for most of the series. That will have to change for the Penguins to advance. Matthew Murray appeared mortal in Game 5. Will he be mortal in Game 6? Or will he play like he did in games 2 through 4?
