Tim Duncan throws down slam on Thunder (Video)

Tim Duncan turned back the clock and threw down a big slam against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Tim Duncan doesn’t always have the highlight plays like he used to for the San Antonio Spurs anymore, but he still shows up and can make a play when they need him to from time to time.

Against the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 5 of the second round of the NBA Playoffs, Duncan looked like the Duncan of old for a play. As Duncan rolled the open lane, he was fed a beautiful pass from Tony Parker and put down a huge slam, as everyone on the Thunder did the smart thing and got out of the way.

"Timmy with the stuff! OKC leads by 1 with 2:38 left in the half on TNT! #NBARapidReplay #SPURSvTHUNDER https://t.co/wNQFUdQURb— NBA (@NBA) May 11, 2016"

That right there is vintage Duncan. If he has the space and the room, he can still put down a powerful dunk that brings out the memories of old.

After being held scoreless in Game 4, Duncan was more involved early in the pivotal Game 5, which was also the 250th playoff game of his career.

There may be fewer plays like this at this stage of Duncan’s career, but watching him pull them off never gets old.
