Tony Romo attending Game 7 between the Stars and the Blues went about as well as expected.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo catches a lot of flack, whether it’s fair or not, for being a choker since he tends not to do well in clutch situations.

Granted, he’s usually the only reason the Cowboys are even in those clutch situations to begin with, but still, it’s a reputation that he has earned.

Romo attended Game 7 between the Dallas Stars and the St. Louis Blues. The Stars got blown out by the Blues to be eliminated in the second round after their 6-1 loss. It’s hard to imagine that the two aren’t related.

Dallas fell behind 3-0 to the Blues quickly in the first period. It could have been worse too. The Blues had a goal by Vladimir Tarasenko called back because Tarasenko was slightly offsides. Of course, Stastny scored just a few moments later.

When they called back Tarasenko’s goal, the referees put four seconds back on the clock. Naturally, Patrik Berglund scored with just four seconds left in the first period. It was one of those nights for the Stars. And Romo just so happened to be there.

That won’t help his reputation at all. Only winning will help Romo get rid of the label.
