The Utah Jazz released their alternate uniforms for next season, and it’s… well, it’s something.

The Utah Jazz were a once great franchise that boasted talents in the likes of John Stockton and Karl Malone, and so the team decided to honor them by releasing their new uniforms on Twitter. Of course, having a team update their look is fairly commonplace, but when something like this comes out, it captures peoples’ attentions for all the wrong reasons.

As you’d expect, their fans didn’t take too kindly to the “Pride” uniforms that they displayed.

If there was ever a metaphor for the Jazz’s recent failures – a reminder that this version of Kobe Bryant scored 60 on them – it would be this. They also never won a championship with Malone and Stockton – their fans are miserable enough. But this might put them over the top.

People have been talking about bringing an NBA franchise back to Seattle. Well these uniforms may be enough to make jersey sales plummet and prompt fans to boycott the games enough that they will up and relocate to Seattle. The rebranding of the Supersonics would surely do a better job than this monstrosity, and there’s absolutely no pride in their Pride uniforms.
