3. Von Miller

If there is a player that had a strong argument to be made for being on the cover of Madden 17, then it’s Denver Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller. He was part of one of the best defensive units in recent history and was the MVP of Super Bowl 50.

By winning the Super Bowl and being a thorn in the side of Cam Newton all night, Miller reminded everyone how great he really is. He’s also got a tremendous personality and was campaigning to be on the cover this year.

While the Broncos might take a step back next season, as they get ready for life with a young quarterback again, Miller should still be seen as a favorite to land himself on the cover of the game next year.

He’s already got the resume to be on there and he has a strong argument considering the fact he could have easily been on this year. If he posts another strong season with double-digit sacks, all the accolades that come with having a strong season and the Broncos are a competitive team fighting for a playoff spot, then Miller could be the guy that EA Sports goes with.
