Johnny Manziel may not have a football job at the moment, but at least he has some shiny jewelry in his mouth.

It’s starting to get to the point where no story about Johnny Manziel is unbelievable, even though no one could make up a steady enough stream of ridiculousness like the one he is providing in real life.

Case in point: TMZ is reporting that Manziel is sporting a new, custom-made white gold and diamond grill (that’s jewelry you wear in your mouth, for the uninitiated) that he got from grillmaker to the stars Johnny Dang. The price tag is said to be around $20,000, which Manziel can certainly afford — for now, at least.

It’s worth noting that Manziel is certainly free to spend his dough any way he wants, the fact that he’s wearing the grill out for what seems to be non-stop partying in Hollywood speaks to the conventional wisdom that he doesn’t seem all that serious about getting back to the NFL. And in this case, that conventional wisdom appears to be correct.

Oh yeah, and his legal issues aren’t quite behind him yet either.

In the meantime, if you perplexed because you didn’t realize grills were still a thing in 2016, you’re probably not alone. Because you’re probably feeling nostalgic from when they were at the height of their popularity, here’s a blast from the past:

You want to see my what?

We’re not sure what we’ll be writing about Manziel next, but the smart money is that it’s something that doesn’t involve a football.
