It didn’t take long in the second half for Sevilla to takea commanding lead over Liverpool thanks to Coke
The first half of the Europa League Final on Wednesday was all good for Liverpool. A late goal from Daniel Sturridge put them up 1-0 headed into the half and things were looking up. But, then, the second half happened.
In the second half, Kevin Gameiro leveled things all up with a goal just seconds after the whistle, and in the 64th minute, it was Coke’s turn.
With some pretty incredible teamwork by the defending champions, Coke was ultimately able to net the goal that would give Sevilla the 2-1 lead and leave Liverpool wondering what had just happened.

Now as if a 2-1 lead wasn’t enough, Coke was not done there.
No, a short time later, he would get the ball in his possession and he’d bang in another one to give Sevilla a 3-1 lead at that point.

With that goal, Liverpool now has a lot of work to do as the Europa League Final is coming to a close here on Wednesday.
