LeBron James is taking the phrase ‘stomping out the competition’ far too literally in Game 2 vs. the Raptors

LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers absolutely thrashed the Toronto Raptors in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, which was only a prelude to them doing the exact same thing on Thursday night in Game 2. Only this time, it was LeBron himself absolutely eviscerating the Raptors as he almost posted a triple-double in the first half.

While you certainly could just look at the box score and see the dominance of LeBron in Game 2, there was actually a perfect representation of the King’s reign over Toronto on Thursday captured in a single picture. James was photographed grabbing the ball and standing over Luis Scola, looking like he was about to stomp him to death—you know, just like he did to the Raptors on Thursday:

That truly might be the best picture of the NBA Playoffs to date and is definitely the one that is most indicative of this series. Moreover, it’s truly indicative of how the Cavaliers and LeBron have been mowing over the entirety of the Eastern Conference.

Everyone expected the Cavs to come out of the East this season, but I’m not sure anyone saw LeBron and company coming through this emphatically. They’ve been operating on an entirely different plane than any of their opponents to date and it’s shown—in more than just the picture where Scola looks like he’s about to be stomped by James.

Update

Of course we had to give Scola the Crying Jordan treatment:
