According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the Dallas Cowboys are in the process of bidding to host the 2018 NFL Draft.

The Dallas Cowboys already have the fanciest stadium in the NFL and are in the process of building one of the most luxurious facilities with the $1.5 billion Ford Center at The Star in Frisco soon to go in.

With a combined $2.7 billion of the most beautiful property in the United States, the Cowboys really are proving that everything is bigger in Texas. With such state of the art facilities and the team expanding their globally recognized brand even further, they’re going all out to bring big events to the area.

According to Clarence Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, The next big event that Dallas wants to host is the 2018 NFL Draft.

The NFL Draft is one of the biggest events of the year and with people coming from around the nation in recent years to Chicago, Dallas wants to host as many rabid football fans as possible and really continue to pump money into the economy while also showing why they are the beacon of football in America.

Chad Estis, the executive vice president of business operations for the Cowboys, told Community Impact, that the team is deep in negotiations to host the event in 2018.

"“We are in a deep discussion right now with the NFL about hosting the draft at The Star…and the national exposure that the NFL Draft brings is massive, and that would be three days of all eyes on Frisco, Texas, and The Star,” Estis said."

Estis certainly isn’t wrong and the popularity of the draft continues to skyrocket each year and it’s become a spectacle and yet another event that fans want to attend.

With billions of dollars invested in the area and a chance to really put what they have built on display, the Cowboys should get the draft in 2018 and it should really motivate other teams in the league to think about future possibilities for themselves as well.
