Rougned Odor’s decided to hold an autograph session for any Texas Rangers fans that had his Jose Bautista punch immortalized.

It appears that Rougned Odor is keeping himself busy during his suspension. While he was villified by the MLB and by Blue Jays fans, he was immortalized in Arlington. His infamous punch on Jose Bautista has not only given him free meals for life, he’s also been handing out autographs.

Darren Rovell of ESPN reported that Odor would be charging $99 per autograph for anyone who had a copy of the punch. However, any other pictures of Rougned would only be signed for $59. There were even inscriptions that were available for an extra $20 charge, including “Bat Flip Will Get You a Fat Lip” and “Don’t Mess With Texas.”

As expected, this became a massive event down in Arlington, and the signing itself had to be cancelled as a result. There were 500 autographs that were allotted, and they were on pace to sell out each and every one of them. Odor then had to cancel it, stating that the response was overwhelming, and the timing was bad since he was still going through the appeals process.

One can only imagine what type of reception Odor is going to get when he takes the field in Arlington for the first time since the punch.
