Looking at which team has the most wins in the NASCAR All-Star Race history

More than most sports, NASCAR really depends so much on the name of a driver and a team. Though there is obviously skill and technique to everything, being a big name for a big team can be the difference mentally when it comes to edging out another driver. It’s true on a dirt track coming up before making it to NASCAR and true at events like the 2016 NASCAR All-Star Race.

Obviously seeing names of the greats heading onto the track in regards to drivers is a great way to really intimidate your opponents—something that the likes of Jimmie Johnson and Dale Earnhardt Jr. can relate to. However, what can be underrated is the value of a great team to not only prep and build the car, but also to help gain that edge mentally.

As such, some may ask which racing team has the most wins in the history of the NASCAR All-Star Race.

Far and away, Hendrick Motorsporst has the most wins in the history of the event, having won eight since its inception. The next two closest teams only have four under their belts.

Hendrick Motorsports may have the most wins in the history of the NASCAR All-Star Race, but it’s been a bit since they got one. They last won in 2013 as Jimmie Johnson won the second of back-to-back wins in the event. Before that, it had been since 2006. We’ll see how long it’ll be before their able to grab NASCAR All-Star Race win No. 9.
