Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James made an incredible save that led to a J.R. Smith three.

The Cleveland Cavaliers once again got off to a slow start in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Toronto Raptors. Much like in Game 3, the Cavaliers were forced to try and rally against a Raptors team that was feeding off the enormous energy of their crowd.

Unlike in Game 3, where the Cavaliers folded and the Raptors picked up a huge win, the Cavaliers made a much more concerted effort in Game 4 and finally got in a roll in the third quarter.

One of the key plays that energized their run against the Raptors, was when LeBron James led by example and saved a ball from going out of bounds.

Even more miraculously, James somehow was able to kick it out to Kevin Love while hanging in the air, who then hit a wide-open J.R. Smith, who would proceed to knock down a three to cut the deficit.

".@cavs cut the @raptors lead to 8 with 1:43 left in the 3rd on ESPN! #NBARapidReplay #CAVSvRAPTORS https://t.co/6m7cnA2Knb— NBA (@NBA) May 24, 2016"

When a team finds themselves in a deficit, they rely on their leaders to get them back in the game and that’s exactly what James did here by saving the basketball.
