If the Toronto Raptors had momentum in the Eastern Conference Finals after a couple of wins at home, it’s all but gone now.

On Wednesday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers finally got things right again in Game 5 and Kevin Love found his shot again. To say this was even a game is being far too generous to what the Cavaliers did to the Raptors.

From the beginning, Kyrie Irving was destroying the Raptors inside with his footwork and it was noticeable on the court. By the end of the first quarter, the game was already out of reach for Toronto and in the second quarter, the Cavaliers finished them off once and for all.

After a couple big shots by LeBron James, the Cavaliers had a 31-point lead at the half and it was clear that the Cavaliers meant business on the floor. Kyle Lowry had another poor night for the Raptors and Bismack Biyombo did not have the impact that he had in earlier games in the series.

The second half was devoted to garbage time and a battle of players that were happy to see the court. Even when the Cavaliers emptied the bench, their starters were able to push the lead up to 40 at one point.

The Cavaliers brought home the win, took a 3-2 series lead and are now just one win away from advancing to the NBA Finals.
