PF. Washington. Marquese Chriss . 10. player. 89. The Milwaukee Bucks have seemingly endless size and length manning their current roster, however they do not currently have a stretch four on that roster. Marquese Chriss could be that guy — in a couple years. He’s only 18-years old but at 6-9 contains all the visible skills necessary to succeed at the next level.

Chriss was a four star recruit for University of Washington head coach Lorenzo Romar, but enjoyed a breakout season for the Huskies thus skyrocketing himself onto every first round draft board. He finished the season averaging 13.8 points and 5.4 rebounds and engrained visions of his acrobatic blocks and dunks into fans’ minds across the nation all season.

Again, Chriss is very young and has miles of work to be done before he’s a viable for any team’s rotation, but the upside is certainly there and that’s what teams are betting on heading into draft night. Chriss has the physical skills but sometimes gets lost on defense and his freshman season at UW he really struggled handling the basketball notching a turnover rate of 14.7.

The Bucks have a solid core with Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and Jabari Parker, so adding a boom or bust guy like Chriss could pay huge dividends a couple seasons from now.
