3. Phoenix Suns

The Phoenix Suns are also another team that makes sense as a trade partner for the Philadelphia 76ers because of the fact that they have way too many guards and they have a strong connection to Jerry and Bryan Colangelo.

Simply put, it would be surprising if these two teams don’t eventually make a deal because of all the connections between them. The Suns have all the draft picks in the world to appease the 76ers for a trade for Jahlil Okafor and the 76ers would continue to be stacked with assets for years to come.

They also have a guard in Brandon Knight that could help run the floor for the 76ers. When Knight was given time to run the Milwaukee Bucks, they were on their way to a playoff season. Then he went to Phoenix and he took a step back, as the Suns tried to shoehorn him into a role that he clearly did not fit.

While the Suns have Alex Len and Tyson Chandler, they’ll be more than willing to address the problem of too many centers to acquire Okafor. With Okafor, the Suns could build around him and Devin Booker for years and fill in the rest from there with the young talent they already have on the roster.
